FIRST California Robotics has partnered with ApplicantServices.com to streamline fingerprinting. This website guides you through entering personal information, acknowledging terms and conditions, finding a nearby location, scheduling an appointment, and watching a brief video to minimize rejection.

Click one of the buttons above for the type of fingerprinting appointment you will be completing, then enter your email address. When prompted, enter the six-digit code sent to your inbox. You can optionally provide your cell phone number to receive appointment text reminders. To track the progress of your transactions, click the Transaction History menu option at the top of the page.
The online process through this portal typically takes about 5–10 minutes, and the fingerprinting appointment itself usually lasts less than 5 minutes. Afterward, the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI generally process results within 48 hours for over 90% of applicants. However, in some cases, the process can take up to 30 business days, and approximately 2% of applicants may experience fingerprint rejections.
If three weeks have passed since your fingerprinting appointment and there is still no status on the DOJ’s website, please contact Support at support@biometrics4all.com for further assistance. When emailing, please include your Payment ID, ATI number, full name, and the date of your Live Scan transaction.
Approximately 2% of the Applicants will be rejected due to poor fingerprint image quality. If you received a rejection notification, please follow the steps below:

If you’ve received two rejection letters from the California DOJ or the requesting agency, your background check will automatically transition to a Name Check. If the FBI rejects your Live Scan results twice, you can download the Name Check Form here: https://oag.ca.gov/sites/all/files/agweb/pdfs/fingerprints/fbinamecheck.pdf
During the online registration process, you’ll be shown the nearest Live Scan location. If you’d like to find a location beforehand, simply click on the "Live Scan Locations" option at the top of the page.
